God is a Gipsy

DIO È ZINGARO (God Is A Gipsy)
"So many languages, yet unknown,
are spoken in this music.
The fingers on the brass Keys
recall in every note so many people,
swarthy faces, vivid eyes,
and mountain skylines, and dusty roads.
These sounds embrace rainy mornings,
feast flavors, or hopes, or wedding dresses,
or colors of the spices,
or prayer..."

Municipale Balcanica has released few days ago the new album, but has already start a new journey looking for musical meeting.
"God is a Gipsy" is a special show in which Municipiale Balcanica hosts on its stage many jazz and folk musicians.
The aim of the concert is a message to the audience: the contact between different cultures, influences, and approaches is not a moment of crisis but a chance to grow up!
The free jazz and the codified folk codes of Mediterranean traditional music interact in a energetic show full on suggestions and themes.
"God is a gipsy" is a joyful explosion of curiosity and will of integration, because as in our society as in our music no one should be considered a stranger anymore.
